At P'tit Arc-en-ciel, we prioritise the safety and enjoyment of children and those who look after them. Please read the following warning before using our play dough products:

Intended use:

Our play dough is designed for creative play and sensory exploration. It is not intended to be consumed.
As our play dough is made in small batches, colour variations may occur.

Choking Hazard:

Our products may contain small parts or accessories that could pose a choking hazard. Close adult supervision is required at all times. Our products are not suitable for children under 3 years old.

 

Allergen alert:

Our play dough may contain allergens including but not limited to wheat, nuts, seeds and dairy. Please see ingredient list for specific information. We clearly indicate the ingredients of our sensory play dough, rice and chickpeas when labelling our products. Always check the packaging for full details. 

Risk of stains:

Due to its nature, our play dough may leave stains or marks on surfaces, fabrics or carpet. We recommend the use of a mat or board during play to protect your belongings.

Storage and maintenance (play dough):

To keep your play dough fresh and supple, store it in an airtight container, in a cool place, away from light. Prolonged exposure to heat, light and air can affect its quality.
Sensory play dough typically maintains its quality for 3-6 months.
The salt crystals that may appear on the surface of the dough are natural. Just play with the dough and they will dissipate.

Storage and maintenance (wood products):

Maintaining our wooden products is easy. Simply clean them with a damp cloth or soft brush, and reapply oil if necessary. Do not immerse wooden items in water or use harsh chemicals, detergents or cleaners. Please keep in mind that due to the natural characteristics of wood, our products may be sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity, which may result in cracking or weathering over time.

Storage and maintenance (ECO cutters)

Hand wash with mild soap and water after use.
Air dry before storing.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Do not immerse in water. Not dishwasher safe.

Safety first :

Although we do everything possible to provide safe products, we recommend inspecting all items upon receipt and checking them periodically to ensure their safety during use.
